28, 2009 I resigned as Chairperson and member of the Asian Heritage Month Committee in the summer of 2008. To date, there is no new Chairperson and no Opening Ceremony scheduled for May 2009. I wish to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your valuable and wonderful support, assistance, and suggestions since the beginning of the celebration of Asian Heritage Month in Halifax in 2000.
